Remona has held numerous positions within the field of learning and development, and as a coach and facilitator, uses this knowledge to effect change at the individual level.

After graduating with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Remona started her 10-year career at McKinsey & Company, serving executives on projects in the mining, energy, and retail banking industries in the US, Africa, and Asia. During this time, Remona also represented South Africa at Miss World in China and completed her M.B.A at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. After rising to the role of Senior Engagement Manager, she shifted her focus to learning and development, and joined McKinsey’s Partner and Senior Partner learning team. In this new role, Remona designed and delivered learning programs for McKinsey’s 2500+ global Partners. Her focus areas included enabling Partners to identify significant opportunities, make meaningful connections with clients and others, and communicate effectively in person and virtually.

Remona then became Head of Talent for Transom Consulting Group, a management consulting firm. At Transom, she led the coaching program and designed and delivered learning programs that enabled consultants to deliver exceptional results for clients. Remona is a Coaches Training Institute, trained Co-Active Coach and specializes in supporting high achievers conquer their next bold thing. As an instructional designer and facilitator, Remona considers and plans for every moment of a session and a program, ensuring a productive and engaging mix of listening, discussion, and practice. When she delivers a workshop or virtual learning session, Remona is skillful in reading the room and adapting her style to create the most effective learning environment for participants. Leaders who have attended her workshops say she is captivating, perceptive, and thoughtful.

Remona was born and raised in South Africa and met her husband in a nuclear engineering class. She now lives in San Francisco, California.
